President (1991-1994) In 1991 a new generation emerged within the Association and this called for reforms. A young leader at the time was entrusted to take over the Association to another level. Late Frank Annor was elected in 1991; he was a leader who had a vision and very enthusiastic. These noble characters have made him an immortal. He was particularly involved in the formation of Okwawu United Association of USA and Canada and also assisted in drafting the original constitution of National Council of Ghanaian Associations.
This pragmatic leader embarked on series of developmental activities which have made Kwahuman a giant social network in New York Metro area. During his era, the Association donated hospital beds to Atibie Hospital children’s ward. Till today, these beds are still used by the hospital. Till the day he was called by the creator, Mr. Yaw Annor was still an active member of Kwahuman Association of New York. May His Perfect Soul Rest in Peace!
